Timothy Noah

Head of Design, Spark

Tim heads up all things design at Spark. He creates and optimises client deliverables for the web, ensuring they’re powerful, engaging and user-friendly. Our London studio represents his first permanent home in nearly a decade, having spent nine years freelancing for a host of agencies across the capital – including Wunderman, Ogilvy and Poke. He attained a degree in multimedia design in 2007, but Tim’s thirst for learning has driven him to juggle his activities as a Frameworker alongside studying for his Masters in User Experience Design with Semiotics.

Surprisingly, Tim does manage to enjoy spare time away from work. He’s (perhaps unsurprisingly for a designer) an adept painter, and he’s a keen footballer too. In fact, he was on West Ham’s books as a youth player (though he’s actually a Liverpool fan). The talent’s in the family, you see – just ask his uncle, Wimbledon legend John Fashanu.

Digital design is like painting... except the paint never dries.
